Part of a 10-piece commission for the the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority’s Hyatt Regency meeting spaces, Wallwork (Sycamore) spans (6) 490” x 184” walls throughout the 1st floor conference center meeting rooms. (22) Sycamore patterns were developed from a photographic detail of the bark of a Sycamore tree found along Chicago’s Lakefront and each wall is designed as an iterative composition of these patterns, making every conference room unique.
